That was the best run ever. I ran at 5.0 mph the entire time which is a first, and I was never really miserable. Now, I know I will be miserable again, but it was so nice to have a run that just felt good like that. The key for me is hiding the clock and my speed. I do look at distance, which I find motivating. Today I told myself to just go for 2 miles, then I could look at time and speed. At the end of 2 I was close to being done with the 28 minutes and was at 5.0 mph. Yay! And the hrm behaved. So, all good!

My 5k is in a couple of weeks and I am feeling really confident that I'll be able to run the entire time.
Good way to start the day. I work out with Lauren this afternoon, then have running class tomorrow morning. Needless to say, Friday will be an off day, and I'm looking forward to that.

Based on your blogs, I don't think you are going to have any trouble running a 5K in a couple weeks. You could do it right now.
And probably faster than you think, even though that doesn't really matter right now!
That is good to hear - thanks! I would like to run the whole thing but not putting a lot of pressure on myself to do so. I think it will be fun either way.
i agree with mary, you're going to do the 5k, no problem. i can't wait! and you ran 5 mph today! that's so great!!! i can't believe you only have 3 more runs left!
